A Summer Evening with Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters

A Summer Evening with Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters
8-25-2019

Legendary Blues guitarist Ronnie Earl is a three-time Blues Music Award winner as Guitar Player of the Year, most recently receiving the award on May 8, 2014 in Memphis. He has served as an Associate Professor of Guitar at Berklee College of Music and has taught at the National Guitar Summer Workshop in Connecticut. He recently released his 25th album, “The Luckiest Man,” which debuted at number two on the Billboard Blues charts and received wide critical acclaim. The album came out after the sudden loss of Jim Mouradian, the band’s bassist (and a respected luthier), and is named after something Mouradian said fairly often: “I’m the luckiest man you know - and I don’t even know who you know.”

Ronnie's yearly birthday show in March is legendary here at Bull Run. And due to overwhelming demand, he's back for a very special summer show with his outstanding band, The Broadcasters: Dave Limina on keys, Forrest Padgett on drums, Paul Kochanski on bass, Diane Blue on vocals and, of course, Ronnie on guitar.

Ronnie is, hands down, one of the finest living Blues guitarists on the planet. If you love the Blues and you haven't been to a Ronnie Earl show, do yourself a favor.
