Barrence Whitfield & Sal Baglio’s Giant Rocket Roll Show!
8-9-2024
First they came to rock. Now they’ve come to roll. Barrence Whitfield and Sal Baglio take The Bull Run on a trip through the history of rock and roll with their Giant Rocket Roll Show, crashing the Shirley stage on Friday, August 9. The duo, backed by a relentless live band featuring Marty Richards on drums, Brad Hallen on bass & Dan Kopko on guitar & vocal, play rock and roll the way it was meant to be played — loud, fast and in-your-face, as the two Boston music scene mainstays (The Savages, The Stompers, The Amplifier Heads) perform lively originals, inspired collaborations and the timeless songs that inspired them both.
It’s rock and roll the way we all like it.
Baglio’s new project The Amplifier Heads just unleashed a new single “They Came To Rock” featuring Whitfield on vocals!

“Wham bam bloody wham bam. Move your furniture, put on your blue suede shoes and get ready to go out off your head on this riff-roaring retro rocker [‘They Came To Rock’]. Boogie woogie yourself around and around, turn up the horns, play air guitar and sing your lungs out.
Hells bells. Hallelujah. Rock ‘n’ roll is here to stay!” - Turn Up The Volume
