Frankie Boy & the Blues Express are winners of the 2019 and 2022 Granite State Blues Society Blues Challenge representing New Hampshire for the International Blues Challenge finals in 2020 and 2023 making it to the semi finals in 2023.
Frankie Boy will be bring their, funky, fresh, raw, rugged Blues power to the Bull Run on March 15.
Led by front man, guitarist and songwriter Frankie Boy Blues. The group consists of three members sometimes four or more playing unique new blues and some of their favorite covers, with styles ranging from traditional Blues to funk all the way to hip-hop featuring real deal home-grown south side Chicago roots straight from Chicago Blues Legend Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson who started life in Mississippi, but Chicago paved his way.
In addition to front man Frankie Boy Blues, the band consists of: Mickey Maguire on Bass/Vocals, Harrison Foti on drums/backing vocals, and a whole cast of amazing musicians who sit in from time to time.
AND, we were just informed that Sax Godon will be appearing with Frankie Boy & the band at this show. Can it get any better??
