03-27-2022 - THIS CLASS IS MOVING. NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED!

ETIQUETTE CLASS FOR YOUTH

You are cordially invited to join us at Bull Run for a Social Graces and Table Manners Etiquette class for children aged 7 to 14 years with etiquette instructor Snezana Pejic, the founder of the Etiquette Academy of New England, and delight in your children’s social graces at your next family dinner.

Ages 7 - 14
Lunch included

Fee $125

*Siblings welcome

TOPICS. This fun and instructive three-hour class offers two parts: Social Graces and Table Manners. During Social Graces your children will refresh their knowledge on basic manners by talking about such things as yawning, pointing, polite conversation, and the importance of having a good attitude and conversational skills.

During the Table Manners portion, we'll have fun as we focus on table settings, using and holding utensils such as a spoon, fork and knife correctly, napkin etiquette, bread and butter etiquette, passing food, chewing, burping and elbow rules. The children will learn the correct way to eat soup, use a fork and knife in both the European and American ways and various ways to enjoy dessert.

SIBLINGS. We often hear from parents that their children don’t get along, and parents are apprehensive about enrolling them together. We strongly recommend enrolling siblings together as one of the topics covered is how to communicate with and show respect to your siblings, especially in public. A game that supports positive communication between siblings is played throughout the class.

FRIENDS. Please make sure to let us know if you enroll your child together with friends. We have noticed that the students that attend events with their friends have more fun and are more open to interacting and learning. Long after the class is over, their friends will keep them accountable for the things they learned together, and they are more open to listen to their friends’ feedback.

DRESS CODE for our classes when we teach adults is business casual and we teach that when we dress up for something, we tend to give more importance to it. However, due to already stressful times please have your teens or children dress in their most creative, or comfortable outfit. We hope to bring a level of fun to already stressful lives.

The Bull Run and the Etiquette Academy will provide everything you need for this class. Our goal is for you to leave with well poised children, inspired to be better and do better with a knowledge of table manners and an understanding of social grace that will serve them well into adulthood! The class provides a foundation for future success in school, at home, and eventually, in the professional world.

Class fee includes the etiquette lunch including tax & gratuity.

Instructor: Snezana Pejic, The Etiquette Academy of New England
