THE NEW BLUES REVIEW - 4 BANDS!
11-27-2010
The New Blues Review is a great night of Blues and Rock featuring four of the area's hottest bands.
Barrett Anderson - At 15 he was sharing the stage with Pinetop Perkins and Steady Rollin' Bob Margolin. Within a few years he teamed up with Ronnie Earl & the Broadcasters (Ronnie proudly refers to Barrett as his protege). Next it was a three year stint with the Monster Mike Welch Band. In 2007 he made a pilgrimage to Mississippi and when he returned he was a force to be reckoned with.
Don't Blame Jack - A Rhode Island based band recognized for their powerful and soulful live performances. Born out of the acoustic music of lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Jack Babineau, the band is the sum of five power players you don't want to miss!
Smokehouse Lightning - A Hard Drivin' Blues-Rock Band blending classic and contemporary music. At the core of the S L sound is guitarist & vocalist Ryan Kelly with a talent and feel for the music well beyond his years. Ryan's Blues/Rock influences create a sound that respects the blues tradition while pushing it to its rock boundaries.
The Mighty Bad Habits - TMBH Band return to the Bull Run bringing the exuberant youth of singer John Farley, and drummer Sam Raia, along with veterans Duke Raia, Kevin Keene, and Tim Miskell. This promises to be one house rockin' set.
