Since forming in 2018, Bass Sabbath has built a loyal following by delivering the Power, Atmosphere and Epic Riffs of the pioneers of Heavy Metal with just two musicians. Featuring classic Ozzy-era favorites and fan-favorite deep cuts. Bass Sabbath faithfully recreates the sound and spirit of Black Sabbath while bringing their own energy to every performance.
At the heart of Bass Sabbath is Nick Votruba, whose innovative bass-driven approach transforms the instrument into a combination of Geezer Butler's Powerful Bass Lines and Tony Iommi’s Legendary Guitar Parts. Combining powerful vocals, creative effects, and a massive low-end sound, Votruba delivers the iconic Sabbath catalog in a way that has to be seen… and heard… to be believed! Providing the Thunder behind the music is Rob Kogut, whose dynamic drumming channels the spirit of Bill Ward while adding his own precision and intensity. Together, Votruba and Kogut create a surprisingly huge sound that captures the darkness, groove and power that made Black Sabbath one of the most influential bands in rock history.
