Mark Marquis, critically acclaimed guitarist, is excited to return to the Bull Run with a new line up of musicians: Matt Dionne - vocals, Lizzy Marquis - vocals and piano; Jimmy Morrell - guitar, Jake Fletcher - electric bass and Dave Bergeron - drums.

Marquis is known for putting his own guitar stylings on whatever repertoire he presents, “running the gamut”, from jazz to blues to original compositions. Mark, a virtuoso guitarist, has been playing professionally from an early age and has performed with some of the finest jazz and blues musicians.

As a player, Mark knows and can play in the styles of John Coltrane, Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis as well as Jimi Hendrix and Wes Montgomery. Growing up Marquis also studied the classical repertoire of Chopin, Ravel and Bach on the piano. This variety of music has somehow made its way into the sounds of Mark Marquis. He has recorded and released a number of CDs of his own music. In addition to recording and performing he has also been a teacher to many professional musicians. This night will offer some great music and some great playing.

In 2016 Mark won the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD at the Worcester Music Awards!
