Larry Kirwan RE-SCHEDULED
** THIS SHOW HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED TO MARCH 2016. DATE TBA

Larry Kirwan, legendary Irish-American rocker, founder of Black 47, author, playwright, and the voice of SiriusXM’s Celtic Crush.

In 1989 Kirwan formed Black 47 the Irish political rock band. They played their last date as a band to a sold out house at BB Kings in NYC on November 15th, after having performed over 2500 gigs. They have appeared on Leno, Letterman and O'Brien. Kirwan's songs have been featured in many movies, TV shows and plays, including recent editions of Sons of Anarchy, Gossip Girl and Tom Hanks' "Lucky Guy" on Broadway; they are also used in hundreds of college and high school history and political science classes. He provided all vocal backing for the performance of "Carrickfergus" in Martin Scorcese's Boardwalk Empire “Nights in Ballygrant” episode.
Also an accomplished playwright and composer Kirwan has written 13 plays and musicals. He hosts and produces SiriusXM's Celtic Crush and writes a weekly column for the Irish Echo. The Daily News named him one of the Top Fifty most interesting New Yorkers.
