1740 Club: Rye Tasting
10-26-2016
"He’s Back!” Phil Hicks is a local whiskey aficionado and long-time patron of the Bull Run. He has conducted a couple of very successful bourbon tastings for us and is returning to share with you his knowledge of rye whiskey.
Phil is a student of American whiskeys and obtained his formal training on distilled spirits through Boston University’s Gastronomy Program. He is a true fan of American whiskey and loves talking about it almost as much as drinking it. The tasting promises to be lively and informative.
We will sample five different ryes followed by a spirit–inspired meal from our chef. Come learn about “America’s first whiskey.”
Space is limited so buy your tickets early.
"Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cry"
"If whiskey don't kill me, I'll live til I die"
