Bruce Marshall’s music career spans 6 decades and over 8 thousands shows including appearances with over 200 national acts. Known equally well for his riveting band shows with the Bruce Marshall Group and his soulful, heart felt solo performances, he’s also half of the Montgomery and Marshall acoustic duo with bluesman James Montgomery. A tireless performer armed with great originals, an expressive, soulful voice and a commanding guitar style, both on electric, acoustic and steel dobro, he’s earned a reputation as one of New England’s best.
“Bruce, I can't believe how much the music business has changed, but it's been great that you've been a constant through all that time. You've always deserved respect -- and earned that respect.” - Steve Morse Music Editor, Boston Globe
Special Guest: Britt Connors blends blues, folk, and country with jazz voicings and pop sensibilities. For Britt's latest album "Warmer Season" she put together her talented band, Bourbon Renewal, made up of some of Boston's finest musicians, creating its own sub-category of Americana they've deemed "Y'all-Ternative" music. Britt has honed her craft as a songwriter while building a loyal following and performing at some of the top venues in the Boston area, including Club Passim, Johnny D's, Toad Cambridge, plus venues throughout New England and the Rockwood Music Hall in NYC.
"Britt Connors draws you in with folky charm and then sucker punches you with her amazing pipes!" - DJ Joltin' Joe Pszonek of Radio Nowhere 90.3 in NJ
