As the Sparrow - Voted Best Live Artist of 2013 by Salem State University. As the Sparrow is a folk influenced rock-swing band based around the songwriting of Mark Damon. The band at times reaches 8 members, including; two guitars, upright bass, banjo, trumpet, violin, drum kit, and ukelele. Damon draws from the energy of 1940's big band swing music as well as the intimacy and poetry of the 1960's folk era. As the Sparrow will release their debut album produced by Steve Scully in mid July.
High School Skinny were formed in Boston, Massachusetts in the winter of 2013 by Singer/Songwriter Matt Dunne, lead guitarist Andrew Newcomb, bassist Andrew Brodeur, and drummer James DiNanno. After graduating college Dunne is quickly tapping into the Boston music scene. Newcomb, Brodeur, and DiNanno were also natural fits bring in different styles and influences, High School Skinny immediately meshed well together forming a melting pot of sound.Ttheir debut EP "Gap Year" showcases their versatility from the stripped down "Just Pretend" to the pop-driven "Heart Attack Love."
Scott Anderson (of 25 Pearl) - 25 Pearl is the offspring of 2 members of the Boston band Cemetery Superfly, lead vocalist Scott Anderson and lead guitarist and Jon Gouveia. With the addition of Bill Renault on bass and Bryan Yebba on drums, 25 Pearl has developed into a vibrant and melodic rock N roll band with a unique sound, blending vintage vibes and folky roots into well crafted songs you will be humming on your way out of the venue.
