Amy Black and The Red Clay Rascals

Amy Black and The Red Clay Rascals
9/18/09 - Amy Black is back! With her band, The Red Clay Rascals she perform a crowd-pleasing roots mix of blues, Americana, old country and folk, covering artists such as Emmy Lou Harris, Patty Loveless, Bonnie Raitt, Gillian Welch, Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. Amy's recent entry into the local music scene has been received with great enthusiasm. Chosen as a "Best Bet" for the suburbs by the Boston Globe and lauded by the Lowell Sun for her "soulful voice and obvious passion for music", her sold-out performances have left people talking and kept them coming back for more. For this show, Amy will be joined by the top-notch playing of her band, veterans Bob Sevigny on rhythm guitar, Andy Sicard on upright bass and mandolin, and Eric Pohl on percussion, as well as a number of special guests including Fred Bement of Tin Can Tele on harmonica and Michelle Lambert on fiddle.
