Boston's Diane Blue is a soul-stirring vocalist, skillful harmonica player and a crowd-pleasing entertainer. Voted "Outstanding Female Singer" in The Blues Audience 2011 Readers' Poll, Ms. Blue is a soulful and sassy performer with a strong and energetic delivery, serving up her own spin on soul, blues and R&B. She won the 2010 Massachusetts Blues Challenge.
Murali Coryell is a triple threat contemporary blues artist who can sing, write and play guitar with the best in the business. As the son of guitar legend Larry Coryell, Murali grew up around the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, & Carlos Santana. And though he is well versed in many styles of guitar playing, it's with the Blues that he comes alive. His playing is exciting, smart, unrestrained and brilliant. And as a vocalist you'd be hard pressed to find a smoother silkier voice in blues, as his last album, "Sugar Lips," which reached # 5 in 2010 on the Living Blues Radio Chart, proves.
"He can play beer-soaked blues until last call, and he can also hang with more pop-tinged material, think a grittier, bluesier John Mayer." - Mark Uricheck/Living Blues
Powerhouse bassist and frontwoman Lisa Mann is a proud inductee into the Cascade Blues Association’s Hall of Fame after winning the Muddy Waters Award for Bass Player of the Year three times in a row. In Nov of 2012, Lisa took home the Muddy for Bass yet again, and to top that off, she took home Female Vocalist of the Year and her “Really Good Band” won Contemporary Blues Act of the Year. Her influences run the gamut, from low down blues sisters Etta James and Koko Taylor, to singer-songwriters like Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow, to R&B belters like Little Milton.
LittleWolf fashions a unique, dynamic roots/blues/rock explosion; a fusion of guitarist Steve Lott's 35 years of experience & Kristi Clanton's youthful exuberance. Bred in West Texas, Steve Lott has toured the world extensively and released two award-winning albums in Australia in 1999 and 2001. Currently, his compilation CD “Blues from Down Under” is #13 on the Living Blues Australian Radio Chart. And Kristi Bess Clanton, the other singer/writer/guitarist in the band, has been a singing star since childhood in Texas. She has blossomed into a great slide-steel guitarist and songwriter. At 21-years, she can handle anything from a traditional blues shout to a heartbreaking ballad. Nominated for Best New Artist of the Year by Alternate Root Magazine.
